Cooking class in Florence: from the market to the table

Feeling like experiencing Florence like a local? Then join this unforgettable cooking class, where you will prepare a real 4-course Italian dinner, using fresh ingredients from the local market. Yes, exactly: from the market to the table! During our cooking lesson, you will learn the techniques and the best tips to make a perfect Italian meal! The lesson will begin with a visit to the central market, guided by our Italian chef , who will help you in choosing the best ingredients for the meal. Once you have purchased everything you need, you will join a professional kitchen in the very heart of Florence, ready to take a four-hour lesson. Here, guided by our chef, you will prepare a full Italian meal, from appetizer to dessert. First, you must wash and cut the ingredients. Then the chef will show you how to prepare fresh pasta; now it's your turn: have a go and mix flour and water just like an Italian mama! Time to make the sauce now; you choose: Tomato, Bolognese sauce or Pesto. While the sauce is cooking, you will prepare a wonderful bruschetta as an appetizer, then the main course (fish or meat) with side dish, and the dessert! Of course, our chef will show you how to decorate the plates and finally you can taste what you have cooked. Delicious, isn't it? Lunch will be accompanied with good wine, water or soft drinks. At the end of the lesson you will receive the Certificate of Participation signed by the chef and recipes of the dishes so that you can propose them when they return home.

Any time is a good time to visit Florence. However, as for any famous Italian destinations, it can be quite crowded during high season. In order to truly appreciate the atmosphere, we would suggest to opt for spring or autumn: the weather is lovely and tourists are much less.
